Radial telescopic shiploaders

The mobile radial telescopic ship loader ensures unrivaled flexibility when loading a vessel. The radial and telescopic features allow the operator to easily trim the hatch or multiple hatches from one feeding position, reducing hatch change times and production downtime. They can load vessels up to Panamax size with ease and we offer a complete range of mobility and dust suppression / extraction options for specific applications and materials, as well as a comprehensive range of mobility options, including tracked, wheeled and mounted on rails.

Direct feed shiploader

The mobile direct feed ship loader allows the operator to directly feed the vessel from wheel loaders in the port or inland terminal to eliminate the double handling of material. This helps the operator reduce loading times in order to maximise production rates and minimize labour and maintenance costs, by having a single unit for vessel loading.

Rail mounted shiploader

The rail mounted telescopic shiploaders bring together the flexibility of telescopic technology and high mobility of being mounted on rail lines to provide a highly effective ship loading solution. Our rail mounted shiploaders allow the operator to move the unit parallel to the vessel along the quayside, with the telescopic conveyor trimming the hatch of the vessel accordingly. They can load vessels up to Panamax size with ease. A complete range of options including telescopic discharge chutes and dust control features are available for all applications and materials.

Train loaders and unloaders

Astec Bulk Handling Solutions mobile systems are designed for a range of applications, with operators greatly benefiting from the elimination of material double handling by unloading directly from trucks, wheel loaders and grabs to rail cars/ wagons. These mobile solutions offer excellent performance both in tonnage throughputs, efficiency and in complying with environmental regulations compared to a fixed installation, with the added benefit of greater flexibility and mobility without the need for dedicated yard infrastructure or civil/planning permission requirements.

 

Astec Bulk Handling Solutions rail unloading systems take into account a range of differing wagon unloading methods used in the industry, including, side tipping, underground unloading and ‘belly’ dumping. Astec Bulk Handling Solutions customise these systems accordingly to meet the needs of each specific application.

Reclaim hoppers

Astec Bulk Handling Solutions mobile tracked and wheeled reclaim hopper feeders and low feeders are designed to be loaded directly from wheel loaders, grab cranes and excavators. These units can be used to stockpile material, feed auxiliary equipment and reclaim to other conveyors, as well as load ships, trucks and rail wagons at production rates of up to 2,500 TPH.

The mobile reclaim hopper feeder range allows the operator to directly reclaim from wheels loaders onto overland conveyors and stacker-reclaimer systems. This allows for passive pile transfer, interyard transfer and feeding of intake systems either in conjunction with stacker-reclaimers or as stand-alone systems. The mobile reclaim hopper feeders can also be used to blend material at pre-set tonnage throughputs in conjunction with other on-site conveying systems.

Truck unloaders

The mobile truck unloader allows the operator to load a vessel directly from a dump truck, to avoid the double handling of material on the quayside. This helps the operator reduce loading times in order to maximise production rates and minimize labour and maintenance costs, by having a single unit for both unloading and loading.
